William Rust is a Tax Principal at Grassi. He brings over nine years of experience to the firm. William specializes in tax and tax consulting, working with clients in the real estate, construction, family office industries, and high-net-worth individuals. He joined the Grassi team in 2020.

Prior to the firm merging with Grassi, William worked as a Tax Manager for Levine, Caufield, Martin & Goldberg, P.C. (LCMG) since 2012. He was responsible for working with partners and clients to complete tax planning and consulting as well as supervising and training staff and interns.

William is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in Massachusetts since 2015. He is also an active member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) Massachusetts Society of CPAS (MSCPA) as well as the Grassi Information Technology Think Tank.

He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Stonehill College and his Master of Science degree in Accounting from Northeastern University. While earning his degree at Stonehill College, William was the President of the Accounting Honors Society.
