Jayne A. Andrews is a Partner in Grassi’s Nonprofit Practice. Jayne serves as advisor to a wide range of nonprofit organizations, from social service programs with federal and state funding to community foundations funded solely through donor contributions to labor unions and other membership organizations. She is responsible for providing a full range of services, including planning and conducting Single Audits, financial statement audits, reviews, and compilations for not-for-profit organizations. Jayne also provides nonprofit tax compliance services covering the preparation of both Federal and state information returns. In addition, Jayne has extensive experience helping organizations complete and file their Form 1023 or 1024 application for tax-exempt status. Jayne’s responsibilities include training and development of staff associates, providing in-house seminars in the nonprofit area and mentoring staff on engagements.

Prior to joining Grassi, Jayne worked for more than seven years in the accounting department of Laidlaw Environmental Services, where she was responsible for accounts receivable, accounts payable, general ledger, inventory valuation, and purchasing for the Northeast Facility.

Annually, Jayne attends the UFR Training & Update, the AICPA Not-for-Profit Industry Conference in Washington, D.C., as well as many other trainings that provide her with the requisite training to perform Single Audits. She is the Treasurer of the Greater Lowell Health Alliance of CHNA 10, Inc. and the former Treasurer of The Brush Art Gallery & Studios, which has further enhanced her experience in all aspects of non-profit organizations.

Jayne was named the 2016 Women in Business award winner by the Greater Haverhill Chamber of Commerce.

Jayne is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), the Massachusetts Society of Certified Public Accountants (MassCPAs), and the Greater Haverhill Chamber of Commerce.

Jayne graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Lowell.
