Diti Ruzi, CPA, CGMA, is an Accounting Services Principal in Grassi’s Italian Practice. She has more than 15 years of accounting experience working with clients across a range of industries, including architecture, fashion (wholesale and retail), distribution, precious metals and software. Diti specializes in tax planning and compliance for foreign entities engaged in inbound U.S. activity. She advises clients on nexus issues for state income tax purposes and ensures compliance with sales and use tax regulations.

Prior to joining Grassi, Diti was an Accounting Director for a large mid-size public accounting firm, where she oversaw part of the accounting department. In addition to supervising the preparation and accuracy of compilations and review reports, she trained and mentored a team of more than 10 accountants.

Diti is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA) and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA). She holds two Bachelor’s degrees, one in Accounting from Queens College, where she graduated Magna Cum Laude, and the other one in Engineering from the University of Tirana. Diti is fluent in Italian and Albanian and has a professional working proficiency in French and German.
