Adam Canosa, CPA, MBA, is a Principal in the Construction Practice at Grassi. With nearly 20 years of experience managing and directing the financial aspects of businesses, Adam brings a wealth of knowledge in construction, real estate, manufacturing, and facility management to the firm.
Adam’s expertise lies in financial analysis and operations, where he excels at developing systems and processes to integrate budgeting, financial reporting, business management, and forecasting effectively. His approach helps clients optimize value, minimize risk, and maximize cash flow. Adam’s deep industry knowledge, particularly in construction, allows him to provide valuable insights into marketplace trends and best practices.
Adam’s professional experience includes serving as Vice President and Principal at Holzner Construction and Vice President and Chief Financial Officer at C.J. Fucci, Inc. He also founded CFO Consulting Services, LLC, where he provided financial and management oversight for clients ranging from $1M to $20M in volume.
In addition to his client work, Adam is actively involved in the construction community. He is a member of the Town of North Branford Permanent Projects Building Committee and served on the board of the Associated General Contractors of Connecticut Young Contractors Council, including a term as Treasurer.
Adam’s technical expertise has been recognized by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), where he served as a technical reviewer for the Audit and Accounting Guide: Construction Contractors. He has also been a featured speaker at national construction seminars and conferences, including the CFMA Southeastern Regional Construction Conference and events for the National Association of Surety Bond Producers.
Adam holds a Master of Business Administration in Finance from Ashford University and a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Quinnipiac University.
