Jessica VanRossem Named Among Notable 2022 HR Leaders
Jessica VanRossem, HR Director, has been named by Crain’s New York Business as a Notable 2022 HR Leader. This annual list recognizes HR professionals in the NYC area who have helped their businesses respond to challenges and power change.
Jessica specializes in employee relations, performance management, staff resource allocation and professional development programs. At Grassi, she recently helped launch a system that improved onboarding and offboarding efforts, seamlessly integrating the human resources, payroll and information technology functions. She has helped create programs promoting employee engagement and well-being, including an enhanced maternity-paternity policy. Under her leadership, the HR department introduced several initiatives to promote equity, diversity and inclusion, such as the formation of a formal DEI council, relaunching a women’s council and holding monthly educational programs. She is co-founder of the Grassi Gives Back volunteering program.
