Grassi Named an Empowering Women Honoree
Grassi is pleased to share that it is a recipient of the 2024 Empowering Women Awards from NJBiz.
The Empowering Women awards recognize companies and organizations that have demonstrated tangible efforts and documented results in supporting, elevating, and empowering women in New Jersey. In June, Grassi won this same distinction by Long Island Business News, which also recognized Grassi’s commitment to supporting and elevating women across Long Island.
Grassi has demonstrated a consistent and strong commitment to championing women through various firm initiatives and programs. The firm’s Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) program, which includes the Grassi Women’s Council (GWC), focuses on strengthening women’s personal and professional development through mentorship, networking, and education. Tangible results of these efforts include Grassi’s recognition in Vault’s 2025 Accounting Firm rankings, where it placed 10th overall for Diversity for Women, improving two spots from the previous year. The firm also ranked highly in categories such as Racial & Ethnic Diversity, Overall Diversity, and LGBTQ+ Diversity.
The GWC, under the guidance of a rotating steering committee of 14 team members, orchestrates a variety of events and initiatives, such as a book club and webinars, throughout the year. These initiatives have fostered an inclusive environment where women can flourish professionally, as evidenced by the consistent recognition of Grassi’s female professionals by local business and industry associations.
