Grassi & Co. Promotes Michael A. Violano to Audit Partner
Leading accounting, tax and advisory firm, Grassi & Co., has announced that Michael A. Violano was promoted to Audit Partner in their Manufacturing & Distribution Practice effective January 1, 2019 and will be heading up the building materials sub-segment.
Michael has over 15 years of experience providing audit, accounting and consulting services to companies ranging from start-ups to Fortune 500s in the public and private sectors in both domestic and international markets. Michael has embraced the Firm’s philosophy of “entrepreneurs helping entrepreneurs” by keeping his focus on working directly with middle market business owners in the private sector to develop various tax and operational strategies for achieving growth and maximum profitability.
He currently serves as Treasurer on the board of Aerospace & Defense Diversification Alliance in Peacetime Transition (ADDAPT). He has served on the board for the Long Island Capital Alliance and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. Michael was selected as an honoree for the Long Island Business News “40 Under 40” awards.

In addition to being a licensed CPA in the state of New York, Michael earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and a Master of Science degree in Taxation from St. John’s University in New York.
