Grassi & NJFPA Launch Food Manufacturers Survey
PARK RIDGE, N.J./MOORESTOWN, N.J. – February 24, 2021 – Grassi, a leading provider of business advisory and accounting services, and New Jersey Food Processors Association (NJFPA), a community of food and beverage companies and service providers that promotes industry growth throughout the Garden State, announced the launch of a key benchmarking survey of New Jersey’s food manufacturers.
The Rutgers Food Innovation Center and the New Jersey Economic Development Authority (NJEDA) also contributed to the development of the survey, which is designed to elicit candid feedback on the trends, outlooks and greatest challenges in the industry today. The findings will be revealed in an authoritative benchmarking report, scheduled to be released at the NJFPA’s Annual Conference this spring.
“Manufacturing is one of the largest industry sectors in New Jersey, and its continued success is vital to the state’s economy and business community,” said Robert E. Grote, Manufacturing & Distribution Leader at Grassi. “This survey will provide food manufacturers with insights and data to benchmark their progress, identify areas for improvement and chart a clearer course for the future.”
“The COVID-19 crisis has dramatically altered the environment in which food manufacturers operate,” added Todd Von Deak, Associate Executive Director of NJFPA. “It is imperative to understand how issues like supply chain disruption, shifting consumer demands and amplified health protocols are affecting manufacturers’ performance and give them a platform to be heard and learn from each other’s experiences.”
Leaders of food manufacturing companies can complete the brief survey online. The survey is being fielded by an independent research firm through March 12, 2021. Individual responses are confidential and will be compiled in the aggregate.
