Grassi Adds Construction Industry Veteran to Partner Group
Jericho, N.Y., September 24, 2020 – Robert S. Posner has joined Grassi Advisors & Accountants as a partner in the firm’s Construction practice. To this role, he brings more than 25 years of experience providing contractors, subcontractors and architecture and engineering firms with industry-specific tax, audit, business advisory and regulatory compliance services.
Posner’s specialty areas within the construction industry include cash flow management, tax credits and incentives, management advisory, technology consulting, succession planning and bonding. He also has extensive experience advising banks and bonding agencies on accounting matters specific to financial institutions, such as accounting of loan portfolios and current industry pronouncements.
Prior to joining Grassi, Posner was a partner at a regional public accounting firm. As the Construction Industry Leader, he oversaw the growth, strategies and service offerings of the Construction group, one of the firm’s largest practice areas.
As a registered representative with a FINRA Series 7 license and a New York State Life and Health Insurance license, Posner has the qualifications to guide business owners through major retirement planning and insurance decisions.
A certified public accountant in New York, Posner is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and Treasurer of the Board of Directors for the Advancement for Commerce, Industry & Technology (ACIT). He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from C.W. Post University.
