Grassi Welcomes New SEC and Capital Markets Partner
Grassi, a leading provider of advisory, tax, and accounting services, announced that Brendan McCarthy has joined the firm as a Partner in its SEC and Capital Markets practice.
Brendan has 15 years of accounting experience specializing in audit and assurance services, with particular expertise in SEC-related audits for public and pre-IPO companies across various industries, including technology, biotechnology, manufacturing and distribution, and financial services and insurance.
At Grassi, Brendan will help lead audit engagements and provides strategic guidance to clients navigating complex compliance and business challenges. His diverse client portfolio ranges from Fortune 500 multinationals to pre-revenue startups, focusing on mid-market public and privately held businesses.
Brendan is an active member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Connecticut Society of Certified Public Accountants (CTCPA). He holds a BS and MS in Accounting from the University of Connecticut and has been a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) since 2012.
