Andrew J. Clarke, CPA, is a senior manager in the CFO Advisory group at Grassi. As a member of the firm’s Construction practice, Andrew provides fractional and outsourced CFO services for contractors and subcontractors across all industry subsectors.

Andrew has nearly 10 years of public and private accounting experience. He specializes in strategic financial planning, budgeting, contract negotiation, risk management, and cash flow forecasting and optimization.

At Grassi, Andrew oversees clients’ financial staff or entire financial functions without an in-house CFO. He also advises business owners and financial executives on best practices for internal controls, financial planning and analysis , accounting processes, financial reporting and compliance, corporate governance, team building and leadership.

Prior to joining Grassi, Andrew served as the Chief Financial Officer at a utility contracting company. In this role, he monitored contract financial performance, generated multi-year profit and loss forecasts and developed financial plans that reduced waste and fostered growth.

Andrew began his career in Grassi’s Construction practice, where he conducted audits and prepared financial statements in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). He is a Certified Public Accountant licensed in New York and holds a Bachelor of Science in Forensic Accounting from the University of Scranton.
