Grassi Honored by CIANJ with “Companies That Care” Award
The Commerce and Industry Association of New Jersey hosted the 2024 Companies That Care awards reception on May 2, 2024, paying tribute to the kindness and generosity of the local business community. Grassi was honored to receive the Volunteering and Community Service award at the annual event for our Days of Giving.
Grassi is committed to supporting and encouraging employee contributions to local charitable organizations, and our Days of Giving are an opportunity to do this firmwide. Launched in 2022, Grassi Gives Back encourages employees to volunteer at local organizations to give back to the communities in which we operate.
In 2023, each Grassi office partnered with local organizations to offer volunteer opportunities, and our impact in 2023 was significant: 191 volunteers, 27 events, and 1,100 hours at 16 organizations. In New Jersey, Grassi worked with Habitat for Humanity of Bergen County to help provide local families with affordable housing through volunteering at a local construction site and at ReStore (a nonprofit thrift store that sells new and gently used items with proceeds going to Habitat Bergen building projects).
We’re proud of our employees and their contributions to our local communities, and we look forward to continuing this program for years to come.
