Gabor Kiss is a Partner and the International Tax Practice Leader at Grassi, where he leads a team of tax advisors dedicated to helping multinational businesses maximize tax savings and ensure compliance in the U.S. and overseas.

Gabor has more than 15 years of tax advisory experience at public accounting firms in the U.S., Hungary and Germany. Specializing in international tax planning and modeling, with a strong focus on the evolving global tax landscape, he has helped clients optimize tax strategies and comply with unique regulations across 25 different countries in Europe, Asia, North America and IBC jurisdictions.

Gabor is highly skilled in translating complex tax concepts into actionable strategies to achieve organizational objectives. He has successfully implemented digital strategies to drive the efficiency and automation of tax processes.

Prior to joining Grassi, Gabor was a Managing Director in International Tax and Transaction Tax services at a Big 4 accounting firm. He was responsible for designing and implementing tax planning structures for holding companies and other corporate clients headquartered in the U.S. He advised them in all tax planning matters, including financing/treasury functions, IP management and global M&A transactions.

Gabor also has experience serving high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth individuals at a global tax consulting firm. He advised international clients in all facets of corporate income tax planning, local tax, credits and incentives, transfer pricing, personal income tax, value-added tax (VAT) and compliance with the Foreign Account Tax Compliance Act (FATCA).

Gabor is a published author on international tax matters, including two co-authored e-books on international taxation and residency visa schemes. He is a sought-after speaker for international tax conferences.

Gabor holds a Master’s Degree in Economics from Budapest University of Technology and Economics and a Certified Tax Advisor designation from Perfekt Zrt in Hungary. He is a full member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners. He is fluent in English, Ukrainian, Russian and Hungarian.
