James Bohl, CPA is a Partner at Grassi. With over 20 years of accounting experience, James consults with clients in a variety of fields including: Franchised Restaurants (QSR), health and wellness, garment and apparel, entertainment, legal, manufacturing, and international business.

Prior to joining Grassi, James worked at a Top 4 Accounting firm as a Tax Manager providing a practical yet sophisticated approach to accounting and tax consultation. James was also the owner and managing partner of his own accounting firm, James Bohl, CPA.

A thought leader in the industry, James is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the National Society of Accountants (NSA). James also provided free tax services for the needy through the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program and is the treasurer of the Foundation for Sight and Sound. James also currently sits on the Board at the Long Island Epilepsy Foundation (EPIC).

James earned his Bachelor of Science Degree with a specialization in accounting from the State University of New York at Geneseo. James continued his professional education at Pace University where he earned his Master’s Degree in Taxation.
